"Honey, I Shrunk the Kid's Photos!"

Images such as unedited digital camera photos may take up to a few minutes to load and show in browsers. The reason is simply because they are way too big in file size. The odd is, you can reduce their file sizes by up to 50% without loosing much visual resolution at all.

The end result? Your images look the same yet load much faster than ever!

Some of the graphics software allow you to do this from within its program. However, using these programs, images in JPEG (ending with .jpg or .jpeg) format can only be reduced in file size by reducing their visual sizes. If you do not want to do that, you need an image optimizer which will do the job nicely for you.
